Guys

My local dealer quoted me $20,600 for a spanky new MF 243 4WD 52HP tractor. It's way more than I need but is about the lowest and widest rig I've seen so far. I work the slope and that's a major factor. Anyone out there have one of these? What'd you pay?

Thanks
Steve

I looked at the MF tractors before I made my last purchase. The 1240 did not seem very stable to me and the 11## series were a lot of money.
I have a sligthly used Deere, mostly due to the price.
With the wheels in the in position and unbalasted tires the NH TC-45 seemed like the most stable tractor to me of those that I tried in that size range.
I friend of mine had a similar Ford in KY. His kids were running around on it all the time and that area is nothing but hills. ....
